We are delighted to offer for sale, on behalf of the owner, this superb recreation of a Wallis & Steevens Oilbath Steam Wagon, built faithfully to the original design and which fills a gap in our surviving engines. This project was started in the early 2000s incorporating a cylinder block and motionwork from a lost oilbath Wallis & Steevens road roller. The rest of the build is contemporary with the boiler being new. ‘Sir William’ was completed in early 2024 and painted tastefully to recreate the look of a Pickford’s wagon.
