Offered for sale is this fascinating survivor, complete with an engine dated c. 1908 from the American Parts Co.

This project came to us in part-restored condition. The engine itself is free, has good compression and makes all of the right noises to run. We’ve spent some time taking a look over it and don’t think it would take too much to make it run correctly.

We haven’t yet decided whether the engine is being refitted to the body or whether it is part way through being added onto the carriage for the first time. The body work is relatively good and is clearly of the era. The wheels seem to be good too although there is no clear drivetrain from the engine to the wheels. Studying photos, we presume this would’ve been a series of pulleys and belts. There is an assortment of parts included.

Overall, a fascinating and achievable project which would be good fun to complete and run!
