With over a decade of experience in the sale of steam engines, and with four generations of our family business being in the motor trade, we are well placed to give a full market appraisal and valuation of the vehicle or collection.
Our services range from an informal chat on the phone for an indication of what it might be (not chargeable) through to a full site visit, inspection and formal market valuation report (typically chargeable). As a recognised dealer of steam and classic vehicles, we have built our reputation on honesty and trust with our clients and pride ourselves on offering a service to suit your needs.
Looking to sell?
If the valuation is for purposes of sale and you intend to use our brokering service, it is included in the commission fees. Whilst our appraisal will give an indication of where to price your vehicle; when we work on a commission basis, we work for you so would be happy to advertise at a price determined by your return figure regardless of our initial valuation.
When we are purchasing the vehicle, the valuation service is, of course, free of charge. Do bear in mind that our valuation services are for determining the approximate market value of a vehicle and not the price typically paid by ourselves for a hassle-free, simplistic sale for our client.
